According to the news published on CNBC and based on sources close to the company, money transfer will soon be possible via WhatsApp. WhatsApp, which started negotiations with digital wallet DANA and fintech company OVO, will test the feature in Indonesia first. However, money transfer is not a new feature for Facebook. Facebook had previously launched its money transfer service via Messenger in the USA.
